At the very least, the cloth is, as it comes from Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik in Lillehammer, a well known textile manufacturer that supplied a large amount of suiting and overcoat fabrics during the 1940s and 1950s. It is also very likely that the coat itself was made in Norway, and it was probably tailor made. There are no other labels present apart from that of the cloth manufacturer. The
