October Sunset in Denver Size:8"x10" Just before Christmas 2011 almost

Just before Christmas 2011 almost twelve inches of snow fell in the Denver area

After noticing this for a little bit I set up my tripod to capture this with a long exposure

The result of the change brought additional character to the skyline and different thoughts of what it creates over time to the modern city

on this evening I did just that and after walking a few miles still didn't come across the plows just the work they left behind

Sometimes the light smoke at the areas will give a little more orange during sunset than normal and this was the case with this image. From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains. Taking the image towards the sun also allowed me to silhouette
