Over the course of a couple of weeks it was a morning routine to go to this spot and photograph and after a while some of the regulars would stop and chat

This allows the viewer to have a sense of place but puts the attention on the snow in the fresh spring growth

which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year

The look from this location can differ depending on the time of year as well as the weather so it is always a view I check when walking through the park

With many of the trees filled with fall colors I also found some had just a few reminders of the season as the majority of their leaves had fallen. Walking past a small pond I noticed the reflection of a tree on the other side which was mostly barren but also had a few leaves remaining.
