Arriving on their motorbikes, rockers would meet up at this caf and others to mend their bikes, play rock n roll music on the jukeboxes and socialise. Record racing was one thrill at the Ace Caf. Bikers would put on a record from the jukebox and race each other to a chosen place and back before the record ended.
