Oblique Luaka Bop Pressed at Quality Record PressingsLegendary vibes player Bobby Hutcherson recorded two albums for Blue Note as a quartet leader, 1967's 'Happenings', and 'Oblique' (recorded in 67 but not released until 79). The line ups were similar for each, with Herbie Hancock on piano and Joe Chambers on drums, although Albert Stinson plays bass in place of Bob Cranshaw here. Hutcherson, Hancock and Chambers all contribute compositions to this LP.
