The mist at the top of this perfect wave is from an offshore breeze, which is helping to hold the barrel open. In the next few seconds, the lip of the wave will touch down to the surface creating a perfect air pocket surrounded on all sides by water. What follows next is the quick disintegration of tranquility with the wave imploding on itself and sending the stored energy in all directions.
