The back is left quite bare with a criss cross strap

The shoulders are strong and cut that way to emphasize the nipped in waist of the jacket. Cirling the upper bodice of the jacket is an additional panel of fabric giving it a nod to the classic trench coat in feel. It is cut with that classic hourglass
