Worn by Mayan women in Nahuala, Guatemala the finally woven cotton skirt was probably woven in Nahuala or a neighboring town. I bought the skirt from Maria in 2011. One of her family had done the fine embroidered randa. While the color is a beautiful dark indigo blue, it is probably not naturally dyed. There are some fine white lines
