This is an incredible gown that is completely covered in silver sequins

The slubbed silk adds texture and the color has a hint of pink - not fully conveyed here in these photos but very pretty in person

I love the simple halter cut from which the skirt flows to the ground

1960s Unlabelled Red & Green Plaid Silk Taffeta Ruffle Skirt Labeled and Designer A stunning little twenties pieceThis is a dramatic and bold skirt made out of a fine silk taffeta. Silk from this period was some of the finest in the world and this one is no exception. The silk has a slight sheen to it and a is covered with a bold green, red and black checked plaid pattern that is a fantastic. The waist band is fitted and the cut skims over the hips and then at the hem has a wide 10" ruffle that gives it the perfect finish. Really pretty and chic. Excellent
